Paper Packaging Materials: Usages and Applications
For packaging materials, whether coated or uncoated, cardboard packaging is a versatile product with many possible uses and applications. From simple shipment of goods between factories and warehouses to displaying retail packaging at the point of sale, the possibilities for this commodity are nearly limitless. Often used in shipping carton boxes, food packaging, beauty, personal care and health retail packaging, consumer electronics retail packaging.

Corrugated Paper
Corrugated paper is a material consisting of corrugated corrugated paper and one or two flat linerboards. Usually this material is used in cartons or postal boxes.
Kraft Paper
Kraft paper is a strong, stretchy, rough material. Kraft paper is usually golden brown; however, manufacturers can bleach it to a pale yellow or milky white.
Ivory Paper
Ivory paper is a double-sided paper with one smooth side and one rough side. Because of its thickness and strength, it is widely used in retail packaging, so its surface is clean and shiny, so it can be used in many custom printing processes. In addition, ivory paper is a flexible, lightweight and waterproof material.
Specialty paper
All kinds of paper with different textures on the surface are collectively referred to as special paper. Because the surface of special paper is not smooth, it cannot be used for ordinary printing processes. Usually, the process of embossing or hot stamping is selected. Specialty paper is usually used for high-end gift box packaging.
Cardboard
The thickness of commonly used cardboard is between 1mm and 3mm. This material is very hard, and it is usually used in combination with copper paper on gift boxes.
